Pacific NW Pilates is a high-end STOTT Pilates studio and certification school specializing in rehabilitative and bio-mechanical training.  It’s run by two dynamic forces, Leslie Braverman and Melanie Byford-Young, who are extremely driven and marketing savvy – my kind of gals so this was fun out-of- the-gate! They had several marketing strategies in place, but many were unfocused or not running at full potential. A year to the day we all dug in, their student enrollment numbers nearly doubled and they experienced a 25% increase in fitness clients. These angels know who they are, how to say it and are the absolute tops in their field!


PNWP signed on for all with LHK Marketing: annual strategic plan, branding & mission statements, client surveys, new website & logos,content overhaul, email marketing, Google Ad Words campaign, promotions & events, pr campaign, management staff hiring.


With the creation of these two events, Pacific NW Pilates now has annual vehicles that create media content while also fulfilling their commitment to community causes. The Pilates Angel identity was formed as the goodwill arm of the studio.

Pilates Week

Expanding on national Pilates Day, the studios opened its doors to the community for a full week in 2011 with over 30 free classes and demos, resulting in extensive media coverage and a 25% increase in client group classes.

Pilates for Pink in the Park

Around the country, pilates studios participate in Shape magazine’s “Pilates For Pink” when proceeds from selected classes are donated to the Breast Cancer Awareness Fund. The PNWP angels grew their efforts into a month-long promotion with appearances at the Komen expo and Lucy retail store, a “pink” fitness line, and a Sunday park event with classes & demos.  Over  $2500 was raised for the Breast Cancer Research Fund.
